I was told that the US is actually a corporation, back in the 1870's I believe and that we're still tied to both Great Britain & the Vatican, based on needing funding once the civil war had finished....& that there's a desire to bring it back to republic status..its an interesting "read" if you have time to google it..again thanx for your efforts..

Glad you are enjoying these Uncle Jim. The "republic status that it originally was" is too vague of a premise for me to respond. I'd need more info on what is meant by that. Also, a corporation is a very specific type of business entity with rules, state by state, on how it operates. So, I think from the get-go I'd have to say the US is very far from that kind of structure.

well hey..thanx for taking the time to do these 8..the last one was pretty interesting...have you ever delved into the "united States" is a corporation "mentality and the possibility of eventually it reverting back to the republic status that it originally was? Just curious
