Episode 6: Is Our Speech Still Free?

Do the actions by tech companies -- cancelling accounts, removing applications, or shutting down services -- represent violations of our First Amendment rights to free speech? No...at least for now.

Not sure I'd use the word "shame". The internet and social media have generally permitted unfiltered free speech, even if it is hateful, racist, misogynistic, or otherwise despicable. Some of this speech may be protected from government restriction, but private companies can restrict at will. Remember, these are free apps/platforms...if someone does not like how their voice is being stifled, they are free to speak lots of other places. With that said, I also make a statement in the video about some of the restrictions can be seen as politically motivated. Although I may not like that...once again...no one is forcing me to be a part of any online community...FaceBook, Twitter, ClubHouse, Parlar, Gab, MeWe, or otherwise...and everyone is…

quite a shame how this is all shaking out...as I believe this is just the tip of the iceberg we're seeing..BUT I believe that justice shall prevail, as that's what this country & God are all about huh??
